2014 Renewal of Religious Vows

<p>This day witnessed the renewal of Religious Vows by nine of our Sisters: Sisters Cynthia Ugbiyobo, Esther Egharevba, Rosemary Omonlumhen, Stella Odigie, Ruth Yachiga, Gladys Anyanwu, Eucharia Nwafor, Caroline Otaru, and Augustina&nbsp; Azamegbe. October 15, memorial of St. Teresa of Avila, is a very special day in our Congregation because St. Teresa of Avila is one of our Congregation&rsquo;s Patron Saints. Our Sisters renewed their Vows during the Eucharistic celebration at 6am in the chapel of the Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Generalate Iguosa, Benin City, Edo State.</p> <p>The Eucharistic celebration was officiated by our chaplain, Rev. Fr. Jerome Idebe who congratulated the Sisters and presenting St. Teresa of Avila in his homily as a model for them on their journey of faith, urged them to keep the flame alive always and&nbsp; trust God who will always assist them with all the graces they need as they journey on. We rejoice with our Sisters and congratulate them for responding to God&rsquo;s invitation to follow him.</p>
